Heute wollte ich meinen ESX in der Workstation starten. VMware meckert “cpu ist vt capable but vt is not enabled” -> Seltsam?! letztens gings noch -> “achja! dazwischen war ein BIOS Update – wahrscheinlich default setting” -> check – tatsächlich VT abgedreht -> einschalten -> Workstation starten -> wieder: “cpu ist vt capable but vt is not enabled”.
??? Nochmal prüfen -> BIOS VT “enabled” -> VMware Workstation “cpu ist vt capable but vt is not enabled”.

“Turning the computer off means, that you have to remove all power cords physically. A simple reboot with the remote management board or by SSH does not have the same effect.”
Also Notebook runterfahren, ausschalten, Akku entfernen – Neustart geht! Fieses Ding!
